The Lake House Restaurant has won the prestigious Dining Pub of the Year Award for the past four consecutive years

The Restaurant itself provides lovely views over Lake Clooney with its ever-changing tones of light through the seasons.  Summer sunsets are particularly spectacular over the Lake.

The Lake House Hotel takes pride in the excellence of its cuisine and the very personal service it offers.  The a la carte menu places great emphasis on seasonal, locally sourced foods.  Locally caught fish, in particular Gweebara oysters and Rosbeg lobsters, Donegal lamb and beef are combined with a seasonal choice of fresh vegetables to create that special eating experience.  The menu changes regularly, so it is important to keep an eye on our Latest News.

The Lake House Hotel offers an extensive wine menu and our experienced staff are always happy to advise on the perfect wine to compliment your meal.

The Management is happy to cater for any special dietary needs.  Some notice is required to enable Chef to source in the ingredients freshly.

Bar Food
More casual dining is available in season in the Bar.  An extensive Bar Food Menu provides a good range of quality food for healthy appetites.  The food is served either in the comfort of the bar or al fresco on the purpose-built, all-weather decking to the front of the Hotel.

Quality and service – as in the main Restaurant – are paramount.

Sunday Lunch
Sunday Lunch at The Lake House Hotel is a very traditional leisurely experience.  A generous four-course lunch with a good range of choice is served at table.  The atmosphere is warm and friendly.  All ages are welcome and there is never a need to feel rushed to finish your coffee and chat.

Opening Times in High Season
We commence daily service with:-
Breakfast   8.30am to 10.00am daily
Resturant & Bar 1.00pm to 9.15pm (Monday - Friday) and 1.00pm to 9.30pm (Saturday and Sunday)

There may be changes to the above times in the off-peak season.  If in doubt, please ring to confirm times.  It is always wise to ring to make reservations to avoid disappointment.

All entrances to the Hotel and all public areas are wheelchair friendly.
